Cabins on the Gorge®

These beautiful, well-appointed cabins are about 2 miles from the New River Gorge Bridge, only minutes away from all the area’s major attractions and activities. Designed for year round enjoyment, these hand-crafted cabins offer exceptional creature comforts. Traditional Appalachian materials including wood, timbers and stone combine with modern touches creating a comfortable, open floor plan that invites the lush forest views inside! Couples will appreciate romantic touches including a master bedroom with king size bed, a large double-headed shower, and a private outdoor hot tub. Families and group gatherings will love the multiple sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchen, TV/DVD player, and outdoor deck with grill. The cabins are owned & operated by Class VI River Runners, the area’s premier whitewater rafting and multi-sport outfitting company. Guests can opt to stroll over to the rest of the Class VI facility and enjoy the eye popping views of the gorge via a series of overlook trails & decks. There’s also an adventure center for activities, outfitter’s retail store and more. Two terrific restaurants are also on site: friendly Chetty’s Pub and the spectacular Smokey’s on the Gorge.

Available by Memorial Day Weekend, our new, well-appointed log cabins are right across the street & within walking distance of our canyon-rim basecamp facility! Creature comforts, authentic materials and a natural setting offer our guests the finest West Virginia lodging experience.

Five cabins offer:

• two bedrooms downstairs each with a queen size bed & 1 (shared) full bath
• fully equipped kitchen
• living room with a full size sleeper sofa, TV, DVD player.
• upstairs with two queen beds, a full bath & a single sleeper sofa
• private hot tub & grill outside
• maximum of 8 people.

Three cabins offer:

• single master bedroom downstairs with a king bed & a full bath
• fully equipped kitchen
• living room with a full size sleeper sofa, TV, DVD player.
• upstairs with two queen beds, a full bath & a single sleeper sofa
• private hot tub & grill outside
• maximum of 6 people

All linens are furnished. Linen service (change of new sheets & towels) is available for guests staying 3 or more nights at $50.00 per change.
